Teacher News
Our community continues to grow.
We have some very exciting news to share!  A number of very talented and experienced teachers have decided to join the Boston BodyWorks community, including Yoga teachers.  This means we now offer Pilates Mat, GYROKINESIS, and Yoga classes in our new spacious mat room.

We are very excited to have Shannon Egelson join our community. Shannon is a seasoned Pilates Instructor who comes to us from PowerPilates headquarters in New York where she taught side-by-side with Bob Likens, Susan Moran and the other PowerPilates leaders.

I can't say how happy I am to be working with my friend Martha Mason.  As many of you know, Martha has her own studios at Green Street in Cambridge and in France, and is artistic director of Snappy Dance. Martha has been teaching Pilates for over 15 years, and is certified to teach GYROTONIC, too.  She'll be seeing clients at Boston BodyWorks studios starting right away.

Denise Frost, certified in Pilates and GYROTONIC, has over 20 years experience as a physical therapist in outpatient care, managing spine care, orthopedic conditions and sports injuries. She will be providing expert assessments as well as seeing her clients at the Studio.

Yoga teacher Emily Phillips has also agreed to be a part of our growing community. Emily teaches at Exhale (where Kathy has taken her class!) as well as other studios in the Boston area.

Our teachers continue to grow.
Kathy is now certified by Juliu to offer the GYROTONIC® Level II Introduction Workshop and spent another two weeks in Yespertal studying with Juliu.

Lisa Pari completed Juliu's latest GYROKINESIS® format in December in Miami and has taught the new format to Boston BodyWorks teachers.  As always, Juliu continues to refine his exercise system, so Lisa is offering the latest GYROKINESIS® format to all teachers and experienced students.
